The biggest lesson I've learned this year is that self-will and my strategies are not what I need to live the Christian life. I need to depend on the Holy Spirit every second of every day in order to live righteously!

If we think of loving others simply as an attitude we have towards them then it might be difficult to love some people. But love is evidenced by actions and each day before each act is done and each word is uttered, we choose whether we are going to be loving or not.

Most humans, including you and I, love conditionally. This is why we need Christ's help to love others unconditionally and without limits. I pray that the Lord will teach us how to love like He does.

The world convinces us that we need to focus on being beautiful. But being consumed by our own beauty will never satisfy us. We can only be satisfied when we gaze upon Christ's beauty and His beauty transforms us. I pray that we will gaze upon His beauty.

Do not underestimate the effects of tiredness on your body, mind and soul. While chasing our dreams many of us sacrifice sleep and rest to our detriment. I pray that we will spend enough time resting so that our bodies and minds can function as they should.
