I’ve made the mistake of starting to watch Chicago Med, I’ve realised I’m disappointed at the zero pharmacist representation, especially since it appears to be a major trauma/referral centre.

A serious concern, and one that hits home knowing the level of bed block that occurs at my workplace amongst a community with an aging population. No. of presentations to our ED is up 11,000 in last 12 months!

Earlier this year my son wanted help for his addiction. Getting into detox was easy enough. Getting into rehab was an impossibility. Everywhere I turned, every door I knocked on was slammed in my face. I was devastated. I turned to my empathic Twitter friend. 1/

The struggle is real for a pharmacist let alone medical colleagues. International nonproprietary names should be standard, with brands in brackets. The tablet descriptions should definitely stay.
