As it rains in SF for the next 10 days, today, there are 1001 people waiting for a shelter bed. The oldest person on the waitlist is 88 years old. 22% are seniors. 21 people are over 75 yrs old. All will wait 4+ wks to get into temporary shelter. This is unacceptable.
