Quick question, should teammates have each others back and help them stay out of trouble?? Well not at some schools, that is frowned upon at some school. Some coaches want players to snitch on each other, they call that leadership, HAHAHA, total joke.

VFTS: Too many college coaches lead with fear — divide players, encourage snitching, kill trust… then wonder why the team has no chemistry. Year after year, same toxic approach, same losing results. That’s not coaching — that’s insanity.

VFTS: What’s bad culture? A player helps a teammate to keep them out of trouble… then gets yelled at by coaches for it. The teammate feels guilty but won’t speak up — because they’d get in trouble too. That’s not discipline. That’s fear-based leadership.

VFTS: You want players who have each other’s backs — who step up, not snitch. But some college coaches build tattletale cultures. Environments where fear runs the locker room. Where it's 'I don’t want to get in trouble' instead of 'I got your back.' That’s not leadership.

Love seeing teams have fun playing the game they love. Coaches—yes, you can be tough, but your team still needs to stay loose and enjoy it. Practice is where you're supposed to make mistakes. Let them have fun. It’s still a game.
