Today President Trump told the US Treasury to stop making the penny. According to the Mint it cost 3.69 cents to make a penny. Some say it would put more demand on the nickel, which cost 14 cents to make. So 5 pennies cost $ .18 cents vs a nickel that costs $0.14. Stop the penny!
