Characteristics of false teacher: 1. They are man-pleasers. 2. They avoid weighty theology. 3. They minimize the gospel. 4. They build earthly kingdoms. 5. They willfully twist Scripture. 6. They feed the emotions. 7. They compromise truth.

If you can take the words “I do NOT permit a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man” to make it mean “I DO permit a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man,” you can make the Scriptures absolutely mean anything.

@TomBuck Fighting for male only pastors/elders in the church is not a small fight. It is a fight for the inerrancy, sufficiency, authority, clarity, and unity of God’s Word. It is fighting for corporate obedience to the Lord’s clear teaching from all of Scripture. It is spiritual warfare.

No where in the Scripture was anyone ever “drunk in the Spirit”. The Holy Spirit does not mimic drunkenness. The Holy Spirit does not make you lose self control. One of His fruits is SELF CONTROL!

PSA: A pragmatist who does the right thing after doing a cost/benefit analysis may look like a principled person for awhile. But he is at heart still a pragmatist. Let the reader understand. And let the principled person not be duped.

If you don’t think that preachers with large ministries and churches who have blessed millions of people through outreach to the poor, signs and wonders, and supernatural manifestations, can be lost then read what Jesus said in Matthew 7:22-23.

A year ago today my wife and 4 children found ourselves HOMELESS because of preaching Biblical truth on divorce and remarriage. We lost the majority of our income when our ministry partners abandoned us, as well as all of our pastoral connections made over the last 20 years.

I’m not really ready to share the full story -but this Sunday, one year ago, my family (wife and 4 children) found ourselves homeless. It was the result of God bringing me out of false doctrine (lost all my relationships and ministry) and my boldness to preach Biblical truth.

Drunk in the Spirit? This experience can not be supported with Scripture. The Holy Spirit does not mimic drunkenness. He doesn’t cause someone to lose self control. The exact opposite is true. The fruit of the Spirit is SELF CONTROL. Galatians 5:23

Because I believe in the divine inspiration of ALL scripture and in its absolute authority I cannot accept women preachers. 1 Timothy 2:11-15, 1 Corinthians 14:34-38
