I believe this is base reality, but simulation believers like Scott Adams certainly have more fun. Would absolutely consider toggling to that side if it led to better enlightenment.

Can the hype cycle only have one main focus at a time? I’m just glad that we’re on to AI now which is at least legitimate, cool and revolutionary. On an alternative timeline we could all be sitting around still discussing that corporate metaverse vision.
