Good to revisit @DerbyUni to take a look over the 3G rugby pitch handed over last summer. Catering for rugby union, football & American football, this is the second synthetic pitch project @SSL_Consultants have delivered for the University in recent years.

3 months since first visiting as part of the feasibility stage, site works got underway in #Wolverhampton this week at Ormiston NEW Academy. Important prep work to improve the tolerances of the old tarmac surface prior to the install of a new 3G synthetic turf. @SSL_Consultants

12 months since we handed over the synthetic turf pitch at Plascrug Leisure Centre in #Aberystwyth. A well designed multi-use sports facility vastly improving what was an unusable area. End of defects period inspection carried out this week.

A full 16 years since SSL oversaw the last refurb of this same facility, survey work in West Yorkshire for potential facility upgrade. Surface levels, tolerances, fencing, drainage, goals, accessibility all reviewed.
