@DHSCgovuk This pay offer suggests it will take 27 years to reach full pay restoration. That is not recognising the hard work of resident doctors. We are asking doctors to be paid 23£/hr - that should be the first step to rebuilding the NHS.

@BBCHughPym Representing a range of views on controversial topics, impartially. That’s what the BBC is for. Here’s a view: even if doctors’ pay was fully restored, they would still start on less than the starting salaries of Physician Associates, and TRAINEE ACPs. Please report it.

@rheumipainmask @DrLukeCraddock @medicalmodelbri PA starts at £24.52/hr, F1 starts at £18.67/hr. A medically unqualified PA earns >30% more than a fully qualified doctor, for the honour of being much greater risk to patient safety. There is nothing a PA can do that an F1 can’t, and plenty an F1 can do that a PA can’t.
