I changed jobs this week, and now have to face the awkward times until I get to know people on the team, and figure out my place. I successfully shared a meme in the team slack channel today, so I think I'm off to a good start. I still have no idea what I'm doing though.

I just heard a team lead brag about how their team worked 80 hour weeks to meet a deadline. No shame, no thanking the team. Just a brag about meeting an unreasonable deadline. It's disgusting. I hope everyone on that team quits.

The best part of having all of my meetings over Zoom is being able to mute and turn off my camera when shit hits the fan, so that I can have myself a nice scream.
