Incredible 263.8 mm (10.4 in) of rain fell in 24 hours in Cumbria, England with much more to come. Warm and moist air has travelled all the way from the tropics, this is called an atmospheric river. 24 hour rainfall record for UK is 341.4 mm (13.4 in), set in December 2015.

So, there was a major attack recently. Apropos of that, I wanted to re-up how we (Microsoft) recommend folks lay out their environments for security-mindedness. In short we call it Privileged Administration. It's the foundation of our (ugh) zero trust model.
