@joshcarlosjosh Really it’s Bill the Pony that looks the most epic here
@joshcarlosjosh Sometimes the soundtrack is literally what defines a scene, like it does here
@joshcarlosjosh After watching The Rings of Power and seeing how underwhelming it is, I realized that literally every scene in LOTR is epic. You could take any segment of that trilogy and enjoy it.
@joshcarlosjosh Bill was just chewing up those scenes!

@joshcarlosjosh every time I hear that melody https://t.co/CLHMzlGMUS
@joshcarlosjosh @YFanGirlJ Correction, 5 dudes and 4 half dudes
@joshcarlosjosh This is how I felt portaging with my family, while canoe camping. Everyone else asked me to turn the music off.
@joshcarlosjosh Insane that 19 seconds is better than 1,5 seasons of Rings of power
@joshcarlosjosh It’s more than this. It’s the transition from Rivendell to this shot where the music shifts from the ‘Shire’ motif to this first use of the ‘Fellowship’ theme. Chills every time.
@joshcarlosjosh It really is one of the best scores of all time in my opinion
@joshcarlosjosh Him and Bear McCreary understand the LOTR assignment, 100%
@joshcarlosjosh I never thought about it before but “LOTR scenes without the score” would be an extremely funny short video bit
@joshcarlosjosh Agreed. Excellent score! I had the opportunity to hear Howeard Shore conduct the Atlanta symphony performing highlights of the score.
@joshcarlosjosh The ending of the first film in the trilogy was perfection. Two Hobbits, gazing at Mordor... flutes, viola... and Enya carries it away.
@joshcarlosjosh Howard shore is able of making a scene of a series of mountain landscapes and the firing of beacons to be one of the most impressive an epic scenes in the entire trilogy
@joshcarlosjosh youtu.be/Azd7lyJ4918?si… One of the most complete scores of all time.
@joshcarlosjosh The Last Charge of the Rohirrim, when the music swells just SO as they're charging the lines around Gondor, I won't lie, I tear up.
@joshcarlosjosh Music makes the movie. Star Wars would be nothing without Williams orchestra.
@joshcarlosjosh if you played these movies with no score at all, they would still be good movies but with the Howard Shore score, they become THE BEST movies
@joshcarlosjosh I love this shot so much! First camera goes up to the height of Gendlaf and Legolas, then it goes down for Gimli, hobbits and Bill, and then goes up again for Boromir and Aragorn creating the illusion that they are all of different heights while in reality they are all the same!
@joshcarlosjosh I never noticed until now that Boromir looks really out of breath in that scene
@joshcarlosjosh There's plenty of amazing scores that elevate their respective films, but when you put it like that I don't think there's a better example.
@joshcarlosjosh The movies are already glorious, Howard Shore made them so much more awesome
