How did @NCAAFootball athletes stack up against @NFL athletes in 2021? Over 23,000 countermovement jump (CMJ) tests, we measured: 🔸 Jump height 🔸 Jump power 🔸 Reactive strength Overall, NFL athletes outperformed their collegiate counterparts in the majority of testing.

Strength and power were on display in the 2021 #NFL season. Linebackers led the pack, followed by running backs and defensive backs. The larger plots mean better performances in the tests. For comparison, the dotted line is the NFL median across all positions. #VALDPerformance

The floor is 8 reps/week for Nordics to show strength & fascicle length benefits (more is better though) Stop training & you lose the effect 2x4/week doesn't seem like much to add to a programme to me - < 2 minutes doi.org/10.1123/ijspp.…
