The @EastCambs Lib Dems vote against our changes to the Constitution to allow members of the public to ask a question of any Member of Council. They also vote against allowing Members to put a question to any other Member. Lib Dems don’t believe in accountability & transparency.

These are quite disturbing developments at @CambsCC. We don't think the council has any lawful basis to withhold documents from its own members. (See: R v Birmingham City Council ex p. O [1983] AC 578.)

Cambridgeshire County Council controlled by Liberal Democrat @LNethsingha backs her deputy "We're going to hit the ground running" @lornadupre . In this case "Hit the ground running" means cancelling all committee meetings for a month and delaying induction of new Councillors.

The Conservatives @EastCambs are pursuing a low cost method of issuing car parking tickets through the Council, rather than by the Police. The Liberal Democrat opposition members failed to support the proposal.
