I don't know why Cards fans are disappointed in not signng Nola. If I were a millionaire like him, I would just stay where my family is comfortable. And, I wouldn't go to a NLCS team to a last place team in the sucky NL Central when the goal of the team isn't winning.

Watching Republicans ruin Williamson County has been one of the most remarkable things to me. It had the best schools. It felt safe. All they had to do was just sit back and take the credit, but now they’ve got armed idiots downtown and Moms for Liberty in their libraries.

There's only one person who did not see this Cardinals' season coming into this year. Mo. Every fan was screaming for pitching help, but "arbitrage" and "internal options" and "we have six starters" and "potential in the 'pen" ruled. What a stuge.

Seeing a lot of "fire Oli" Tweets. The Cardinals' front office yields a majority of the decision-making power, and it's no secret that they have visible flaws in their player development plan, beginning with the rotation. Hard to blame skip when the protocol is obsolete.

Another non-quality start. Thanks, Contreras. Oh, wait, he didn't catch. Let's get around to pointing fingers (if we're going to do so) at the real problem. The starters are not good and Jack is not an ace. Mo said we had six starters and there's really one.

So the Cardinals finally get a good start out of a starter and Oli pulls him early. For the second time this week. And the bullpen again blows it. If you're benching production in favor of people overworked, what are you doing?
