This article actually made me cry. @jetscott eloquently captures the simple and transient beauty of the recent Wordle phenomenon and all the good it's brought out in us, against a backdrop of a more complicated, more lonely world than used to be. I want more of this good.

Super impressed w/ @duolingo #Spanish #podcast. Listened to first 3 episodes today, and found the (true!) stories so intriguing. Inter-weaving of English is perfect amount for intermediate listeners and sound effects add nice touch.

The Supreme Court just ruled and has denied the request to halt #BrandonBernard’s execution. That clears the way for the execution to proceed & absent a last-minute grant of executive clemency from the president, the Bureau of Prisons will move forward with the execution.

The clock strikes 6, which was the official execution time for #BrandonBernard. We witnesses are still at a media center. Haven’t been told if we’ll be taken to the death-chamber across the #TerreHaute prison. If it’s still on, the execution won’t start until witnesses in place.

Fifteen minutes to #BrendanBernard’s official execution time of 6 p.m. and reporters here set to serve as witnesses still waiting for word it is on. It won’t be possible for them to start on time; it takes an hour to process witnesses. Final legal appeals likely still pending.

Ideas to help mamas of babies: 1) Ship them their favorite snacks. 2) Find them a glider, baby swing (rocking both directions is good), or white noise machine. Used is fine! 3) If both parties are comfortable/well, babysitting & in-person support is needed more than ever.

If anyone knows of reliable but inexpensive ($1500-$3000) vehicles for sale, in the KC metro especially, I seem to always have some friends looking. I've helped two friends help find cars this year by posting info from colleagues selling -- would love to help more.
