Every quarter economist's miss India's GDP, then say 'look at GVA not GDP', 'deflator is wrong', 'must be a one-off' Yes data is imperfect in India, but even if it was perfect you can't forecast GDP growth rates by just punching numbers randomly in excel. This is what most do.
