Setting your hands is probably the #1 cause of handle slack. Do you have to move them before you can torque the handle? How do you find a good setting?
I studied the best hitters ever. Instead of studying what they do/did, and then teaching it, MLB calls them freaks, and continues to teach their nonsense that is opposite of the freaks.

Don’t think for one seccond this is a SNAP thing. This is about understanding what great hitters do from experience on the performance side working with great hitters to scratch out improvement with guys who do literally everything well. This game is hard. Detail matters.

Your goal should be for your swing to always be short. Creating a rubber band like load where the trigger of your swing is like pulling back a rubber band around a corner and waiting for the right time to let it fly.
