Vendors: if you give away equipment, give away licenses with them. While I would be interested in trying your $600 AP, it’s not worth hours of steps of setup, emails with your support team just to get my accounts sorted. It also makes me not want to ever use your product.

If you are going to attend #WLPC in Phoenix, this deep dive should be high on your list. GPS/GNSS is going to be a much bigger part of Wi-Fi due to the reliance on these technologies for 6GHz.

Lots of talk at #WLPC regarding various transition modes. My takeaway: just don’t do it. Too many scenarios and edge cases where “it’s complicated.”

It looks like #Educause is kicking out all the non-members unless you pay up. This sucks, there are lots of non-members who provide great content, information and advice for free to members. I bid fair well to all the higher education folks I’ve interacted with over the years.
