But the point isn't whether you share those preferences or not. It's that you don't have to on the web! You can be serving HTTP from an Amiga 4000 written in 68040 Assembler or EasyAmos. Nobody would have to know! It's an amazing achievement that the web works like this. Embrace!

90% of pscale's biz is B2B + laying off sales & mkt ≈ majority of their B2B customers reach out to them... I think. In that perspective, this move makes sense. And if the funnel from hobby to paid is low + the cost of maintaining hobby plans is high, then yeah makes sense.

People have varying degrees of sensitivity to bluntness. Hard to adjust to everyone, let alone strangers. Grow thicker skin or learn how to disengage. Although yes, it's easier to adjust one's mannerisms to friends and family. Don't be a complete ass to them. It ain't hard.
