Interesting that OPEC tried but failed to hit its quota in July. Oil supply is more constrained than one would think, and oil price needs to be higher to incentivize production.

$VRTS' distribution & admin services fees are based on average weekly sales or average daily net assets -- trying to wrap my head around this... but how come revenue from these two segments are greater in a bear market like 2022 vs. bull markets like 23 and 24? any thoughts?..

Interesting comment from $MKL on investing through cycles— lump earnings over the next five years with reasonable leverage and then you won’t have to compete with PE firms that lever things up and can’t sustain short term losses (disallowing them to service debt).

CLS was sold for $3 bil, BRLink was a Brazil tech service provider, and Keenondots was a dutch cloud-based automation platform (bolster Ingram Micro's cloud services capabilities and support its digital transformation). $INGM at 6x EBITDA looks very interesting ($21.8/share).
