Dear all, I really have no words for this. The love of my life, Julie Bolus died yesterday. She has been exceptional as a wife, mum, nurse and friend. She lived with love and wanted us to be kind and care. It been my honour to be her husband. We have lived every minute. David

My darling mother is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support and continues to have a deep reverence for her colleagues across health care. Here is Jules doing what she does best, because you should always be the first on the dancefloor.

Ministers say the 1% pay rise they want for nurses is a “real” above-inflation increase. But their own official forecaster the ⁦@OBR_UK⁩ said only two days ago that it would be a “real” decrease in pay. See attached. So slightly odd ministers keep making this bizarre claim

Have you ever forgotten just how far you have come in life? My family is working class and Northern only one of my siblings went to uni (brother obvs!) Now all my children are graduates my grandson assumes he will go to uni It's important to remember and to dream of better 💗
