I’ve been reading “Into the Wild”, Jon Krakauer’s gripping account of an idealistic 20 something’s ill fated trip into the Alaskan wilderness. Love this passage here. In a world where there is no terra incognita anymore, one way to find one is to just throw away the map..

Spending a bit of time in NE Ohio at the moment and enjoying seeing the range of birds here, like bluejays and cardinals. We just don’t get birds that colour in Scotland! Willow and I also met a skunk last night, but the less said about that the better..
