This is ridiculous! Congress has no faith in itself to get a funding bill passed, so instead of spending time figuring that out they're spending time putting together a patchwork of bills to protect small parts of the government.

Spent 3 hrs yesterday to get our 5 yr old his first vaccine shot. They had 300 doses and when the doors opened there were already enough children in line to account for half of those. Looking forward to going back in 3 weeks to get his 2nd and feeling safer during our holidays!

OK, so we're at the 2 month mark for our 5 year old. He has to wear a mask for 8-9 hours in school every day, as mandated by his school. Number of times he's complained about having to wear a mask in all that time? 0, zilch, none, nada, never, nunca, z+row

I'm convinced that 5% of DC drivers are responsible for 99% of traffic accidents. If you're veering right across two lanes of traffic to make a left turn when the light's already red IN FRONT OF A SCHOOL, you shouldn't be driving. I see this at least once a week.

It's not just a shutdown that disrupts gov activities. Just the threat of a shutdown leads to countless hours of meetings and prep causing lost hours of productivity from your government. How many millions of tax dollars are lost just to prep for a shutdown that may never come?

With all the talk about "space junk" lately, how concerned are we about junking up the Moon with failed startups claiming to want to do something there? Maybe any moon operation contract should have to state how they will cleanup should they (and most will) run out of money?
