I build a whole feature in 5 minutes with Cursor… then spend the rest of the week fixing bugs and cleaning up the mess. What a time to be alive. Still love Cursor though, I even pay for it.

Been digging into MongoDB pagination lately and wow, .skip() is a silent killer. Turns out when you do something like .skip(1000).limit(20), Mongo actually scans 1020 docs and just tosses the first 1000 away. Use Cursor-based pagination (aka keyset pagination) instead.
