It's just not possible to translate a work that's all about a Japanese dialect into a language that isn't Japanese, it simply doesn't make any sense. Whatever the translation choices are, it will never be anywhere near close to directly understanding the native content.

People complaining about game and anime localizations hardly ever seem to address the elephant in the room: learning Japanese. It might seem ridiculous and impossible but it's really not. It only takes time. I'd say it's easier and takes less time than learning an instrument.

This tweet is gaining traction with people who speak English but it's really the one after that is really bad. "Do you need a reason to help others?" is a recurring line that is supposed to embody the entire theme of the story. It was completely purged from the English version.
