Who do we contact higher than the authorization person at @Cignaquestions ? Since your representative told UF to do CT scan simulations to prove medical necessity and now won’t even review the scans that prove why I need proton therapy over regular radiation? #Cancer #advocacy

More drama about proton therapy. @Cignaquestions I was told to go get CT scans and prove medical necessity for proton therapy. We did all of that and now the prior auth department is refusing to review the packet saying proton codes do not qualify. Why? #breastcancerawareness
