The goal was never just to build a fast blockchain. If that were the only goal, we could have been done three and a half years ago by running geth, or erigon, or reth, or solana, with minor changes, on a bigger box, on a few nodes located close to each other. We could have done that quickly, and people might have been excited for a little while. But we would not have really contributed anything, and the hype would quickly fade, and you would already have forgotten about us. Every startup needs a north star, a reason for being. Market sentiment is inherently volatile, but without a reason, faith falters when sentiment wanes. A team and a community can keep moving consistently forward, gaining new strength and experience every day, regardless of the sentiment, if there is a clear raison d'être and a clear plan of attack. For our team, the north star has always been decentralization. Empowering decentralized systems with new architecture that makes the most of every cache line, every SSD IOP and every bit of bandwidth. Existing blockchain systems don't have the performance engineering advancements that characterize modern finance (Nasdaq ITCH, CME Globex, Goldman SecDb). We can change that, and support an ecosystem of ambitious builders who take advantage of these new superpowers. We can change that. Rolling out the last round of features soon, open sourcing the execution client soon, audit contest soon, mainnet soon. The future is indeterminate and incredibly exciting.
@keoneHD im a bit dumb but what does the 4th paragraph mean?
Everything Monad has done so far is incredibly exciting. The testnet functions like a real mainnet, and seeing this comment mentioning the need to integrate modern finance into a decentralized blockchain only makes me more excited. This is precisely why we're seeking a decentralized blockchain: to develop solutions that are equal to or superior to the legacy system, yet aren't centralized, have no owner, and allow things to unfold naturally.
@keoneHD Historically speaking, keeping “decentralization” as North Star is a usual mistake ( usually driven by tech heavy teams) as soon you come to realise that 99% of users, community, builders, and institutions don’t care about decentralisation at all.
When I first examined Monad two years ago, my perspective was naturally limited. I saw it only as a high-throughput chain, capable of around 10,000 TPS, Solana-like, parallel EVM-compatible. Back then, I thought only in terms of speed and parallel execution. Today, I see Monad telling a much bigger story. Its asynchronous execution model and modular architecture have produced an entirely new infrastructure that natively supports real-time data streams, speculative execution methods, and high-frequency trading scenarios. This is not merely a pursuit of performance; it is the foundation upon which the financial systems of the future can run directly on-chain, with algorithms operating seamlessly. Even though it is still in the testnet stage, Monad, in my view, has already proven its success. On mainnet, adaptation, liquidity formation, and user adoption will take time; price fluctuations will happen. But these are only surface-level phenomena. The deeper success lies in a system built from first principles, engineered from scratch. A team that has carried the most advanced optimizations of modern financial engineering into the blockchain world, and chose to make it open-source for humanity. And to me, the most important point is this: Monad is no longer simply “a faster chain.” It is a paradigm that expands the design space of decentralization, redraws the traditional boundaries between consensus and execution, and gives developers entirely new primitives. Perhaps today we are still in testnet, and perhaps not everyone can see this vision yet. But tomorrow, I know many more will be speaking about this technology. Because Monad is not just a network; it is a laboratory for the next stage of decentralization, one that offers builders both intellect and inspiration. Keone, in such a chain that I admire deeply, I feel lucky and proud to serve as a validator. No matter what happens, I will continue to believe in Monad.
@keoneHD I was going to write this but I was too busy eating my third dinner
@keoneHD New features Open sourcing Final audit Mainnet 💜 It's so close I can taste it
@keoneHD does this also mean tokenized stocks are coming to monad?
@keoneHD pursue decentralization because it’s important
Good things take time always, even personal success. You and all the team members have done a great work in the past years. Community and the team enjoyed these years because no one was in rush or just wanted the mainnet. Monad is no shortcuts chain and I believe it's the future. It's crazy for me to think that mainnet is really soon and we are going to new ear. It's just the beginning 🫡
@keoneHD Our goal is clear! Let us witness it together!
The fastest decentralized chain is coming. Really appreciate for what you have done for the entire space🫡 Many people forgot about decentralization but you aren't while optimizing the chain performance. Monad team is the real goat Believe in Monad, Monad team and tech Nads are gonna bang this space!!
@keoneHD @iwillalllowit do a song like x.com/n0_vist/status… but for keone like I am searching for a Chain with keone no ____ LMAO

@keoneHD KEONE THE GOAT @Purpman123
@keoneHD This is the kind of vision that outlives hype, building for resilience, not just speed. Decentralization with real engineering muscle is exactly what the ecosystem needs.
@keoneHD When we did ama with James he explained in very easy way what u trying to achieve: "Imagine ppl deposit billions and hack happens"... instituional and otc desks will not park their liq into broken tech.
This is a powerful statement. Clear vision + technical depth + relentless focus = the kind of foundation that actually attracts builders and sustains an ecosystem. Excited to see mainnet roll out... this feels like more than just another blockchain, it feels like a real shift. 🙏
@keoneHD This is the difference between building hype and building foundations. Monad chose the hard path, and it shows 🔥
@keoneHD The future is indererminate and incredibly exciting -> banger. Also, the comments and responses in this thread add a lot of knowledge for anyone wanting to learn more about financial system status quo.
@keoneHD Everything is for the monad. And the monad is about to enter a new chapter.
@keoneHD Honestly, I didn’t think a random Telegram group link on Twitter would change my life this much. I’m proud of what Monad has accomplished in these three years and I’m grateful that I witnessed the journey and became part of it.💜
Your dog's weird grass-eating could mean gut trouble, often tied to itching or paw licking. Fortunately, dog parents have found a super simple way to address this with the help of 1 single chew 😍
