A balanced viewpoint from a suitably wide perspective. Can't say I disagree with any of it - though would be keen to stress that not all IPs guilty of failing cases where there is full compliance.

A persuasive case for requesting amendment of these regulations, @SP_Economy , as long as it can be done without delaying its overall progress significantly. The point about the perverse incentive for clients to stop paying, force revocation and reapply is particularly strong

Today @scotgov is laying the regulations for Funeral Expense Assistance. It will provide a one-off payment to support people on certain low income benefits or tax credits by providing a contribution towards the cost of a funeral. We look forward to delivering it in Summer 2019.
