Good morning with good news: Norway's data indicates EVs "fail at a lower rate than gas cars in extreme cold." EVs are 25% of cars in Norway. In a recent cold snap, 13% of cars unable to start were EV. For 2024 so far, 21% of cars unable to start were EV. electrek.co/2024/01/17/ele…

I post these because car brands won't: Over its lifetime, a new petrol or diesel car will use more than your entire lifetime's carbon budget, locking next 10,000 yrs of humans in higher risk of extreme weather and food shortages. An new EV will have a third of LCA impact.
