IMHO it is possible to condemn unreservedly Hamas’ actions of 7/10 and its continuing holding of hostages (a war crime) with Israels’s wanton destruction of Gaza’s towns and cities (a war crime).

Inevitably come across war cemeteries which are immaculately maintained when driving across France off the motorway. Don’t often come across British and German cemeteries next to each but real poignancy was graves of Jewish soldiers in German cemetery

Huge numbers of butterflies, grasshoppers, crickets and other insects on our alpine walks this year - also came across what I think is a chamois skull.
