Pretty joyful in Tacoma this morning. Celebrating the opening of Hilltop extension, all the speakers saying the hard work to build this project has paid off. 27% of households in this area don’t own cars and this connection will be life changing.

The common problem in every death here is cars hitting kids on bikes, not e-bike regulation. It is our violent transportation system, and the narratives like this that uphold it, which we need to fix. Really bad ⁦@mrichtel⁩ @nytimes nytimes.com/2023/07/29/hea…
