Lost History: 20 years ago JJ Abrams, Damon Lindelof and Bryan Burk joined editor Mary Jo Markey in Burbank where they would spend the next nine days on cutting the pilot - after MJM already did a lot of work while production was still ongoing. linktr.ee/815doc
Little known secret: JJ Abrams was replaced during production of the Lost pilot by his evil twin JJ Abramson. The same thing happened with Director of Photography Larry Fong, who was replaced by Lawrence Fongo and Flawrence Fong.
Lost History: 20 years ago today the Lost crew wrapped production after 32 days of filming. Against all odds the pilot was now in the can and "only" needed to be turned into a proper movie to present it to the network. linktr.ee/815doc

20 years ago, the cast and crew of #LOST were hard at work, making the pilot episode(s). We still think it holds up as one of the greatest television pilots of all time. Very few shows have even come close. Can you think of any?
@nicktkerns If you like sci-fi type stuff with a lot of good characters and you’ve never seen Lost you should give it a shot. The two part pilot episode alone could’ve been a great movie. The first season as a whole could stand alone too IMO.
LOST really does have one of the best pilot episodes. It never gets old and I'm instantly amped every rewatch.
