everyone is cheering on the fuck leetcode guy. but I haven’t heard anyone present a better alternative proxy for ability to allocate scarce prestigious jobs. leetcode sucks but any alternative is equally gamed (and arguably tracks raw ability even less)

theory makes sense but I will be astonished if this gets to market in under 3 years - at which point software may well have moved on and/or nvidia responds with dedicated inference hardware themselves that play nicely with cuda.
