“therapeutic exercise” in PT school emphasized “being creative.” IMO it’s for the PT, not the patient.
I still advocate for effective over creative or entertaining.

Has anyone actually seen bicep curls do anything clinically relevant for patients with rotator cuff related shoulder pain? (Genuinely asking)
It feels like clinician prescribe these solely so they can catch up on notes.
For so many musculoskeletal conditions, to me, it makes so much more sense to bypass primary care and surgical specialties and simply go right to a physical therapist. Does not seem to be a very controversial opinion any longer to me.
Most people don't understand running.
It's why a non-runner will be more impressed by someone who jogged a 4 hour marathon than a kid who ran a 14 minute 5k
In the sport, we obsess over what "fast" is, grading & judging ourselves
