You don’t have to wake up and feed a futures contract in shitty weather and the breakeven is cheaper than a lot of breakevens on physical calves….. only potential thing that it might need fed is margin money.

Times come up where COG>/close to the price of finished cattle. Does anybody else wonder when that happens and at what price level? We have a hell of a spread between the two at the moment. Unless corn goes to $12 live prices have a ways to fall for that to happen.
