Why is user called @NYTCare if it can't provide help? Help link takes me to NYT site, which says to phone or chat—but there's no chat link. Site sends me in circles, and to make matters worse, there's no email address. That's why I went to Twitter. Infuriating.

If @CNN thinks canceling @ReliableSources will increase viewer trust, they’re wrong. What a loss for those who believe honest free press is essential to democracy! Does nothing to inspire confidence in “new and improved” CNN. Thanks, @brianstelter. You’ll be missed.

People like me can't afford unlimited subscriptions. We sometimes need 1 specific article from paywalled source (if not available from library). Why can't we purchase single articles or better yet, 1-day site access, for a nominal fee (under $2)? axios.com/media-startups…

In PBS/NPR/Marist Poll, 82% of Ds said they'd trust 2024 pres. election results if their candidate lost, vs 33% of Rs. I'd have believed a legit Trump win in 2020, however disastrous. Given GOP taints to electoral system, in 2024, I sadly could not. nyti.ms/32vVnHN

One of the most impressive things about #Jan6thCommittee is that they're ensemble players, with various members deployed to brief the media, while (mostly) subordinating even sizable egos. A credit to Chair @BennieGThompson, maintaining control without always being the star.

I'm a ridiculous @DeadlineWH fan—I record it, and not just to fast-forward thru commercials—but when @NicolleDWallace is off, I rarely make it thru more than half an hour. Except when the estimable @jheil is hosting. Wish @MSNBC would ask what he's doing at 11pm weeknights.

The Biden-Harris admin. consists of competent people who believe in government. Competent, ethical, properly funded gov't is not the problem--it is a major part of the solution, to the pandemic, the economy, and many other social and political ills.
