what trading really comes down to... 1. Expected Value = I have an edge 2. Law of Large Numbers = I can trust my edge over many trades 3. Risk Management = Keeps me alive long enough for my edge to pay me 4. Standard Deviation = Sets my expectations for win/loss streaks

Pre-defining.. actually... prioritizing risk requires you as a trader to gather evidence as to why you may be wrong over multiple trades. Then creating your risk parameters is you actually doing something about it so you'll still be profitable at the end of it all.
