No matter what decisions you’ve made in the past, the Savior can heal you and turn all things for your good. Beauty for ashes.

It is impossible to see how much someone is hurting. Behind the smile is a wrestle with spiritual & religious questions, painful relationship problems, managing a mental illness, holding off emotional breakdowns, etc. Exhausting daily battles we know nothing about. Be gentle.

"I have commanded that ​​​#none​ of you should go away, but rather have commanded that ye should come unto me, that ye might ​​​feel​ and see; even so shall ye do unto the world." –3 Nephi 18:25

The Savior may not fix our troubles immediately, but He knows our sufferings & has promised to wipe all tears from our eyes. There will be divine compensation. One day you'll see purpose in every difficulty - even your hardest days shaped you into all He intended you to become.

Search these commandments, for they are true and faithful, and the prophecies and promises which are in them shall all be fulfilled. ~D&C 1:37🌸

No matter how you pray or to whom you pray, please exercise your faith—whatever your faith may be—and pray for your country and for your national leaders. There is nothing more important right now than the people of all nations praying for divine inspiration and guidance.

Brothers and sisters, please listen carefully to what I am about to say. God does not love one race more than another. His doctrine on this matter is clear. He invites all to come unto Him, “black and white, bond and free, male and female.”

Sometimes the Lord calms the storm for us, but sometimes the Lord lets the storms wage on but calms us.❤

The pandemic did not catch the Lord by surprise! He has prepared us to learn important lessons about how to better serve Him and the people around us. When we return to our new normal, I hope that we will remember and apply the many lessons we’ve learned during this time.

Everyone is facing different circumstances in life. Maybe, the least thing you could do is be kinder, we never know their struggle.

Because you are so valuable, some of your trials may be severe. You need never be discouraged or afraid. The way through difficulties has always been prepared for you, and you will find it if you exercise faith.

I assure each of you that as you go to the temple or visit the temple grounds, you will walk on sacred, holy ground. You can hear the still, small voice of the Spirit in the temple or on its sacred grounds in ways you never will at the mall, in restaurants, and in public places.

When you are faced with temptation—even if the temptation comes when you are exhausted or feeling alone or misunderstood—imagine the courage you can muster as you choose to let God prevail in your life and as you plead with Him to strengthen you.

Let us embrace the future with faith!

We are here on earth to be tested, to see if we will choose to follow Jesus Christ, to repent regularly, to learn, and to progress. Our spirits long to progress. And we do that best by staying firmly on the covenant path.

Wendy and I were vaccinated today against COVID-19. We are thankful for the countless individuals who performed the work required to make this possible. We have prayed for this literal godsend. Receiving the vaccine is part of our personal efforts to be good global citizens.
