Social Media has created this perception that trading is this 'get-rich' quick scheme and that it is SO easy! The reality is that 99% of people don't understand the amount of work, dedication and discipline it takes to develop a skill like trading. Learn to love the process!

Understand that profits are a by-product in trading! They are a by-product of staying disciplined, properly managing risk and sticking to your system/criteria. In the end you have to be able to detach yourself from the outcome and focus on executing your system.

When you see your edge present, execute. Do not ignore the possibility of loosing that trade, because at the end of the day it is all about probabilities. However, this should NEVER stop you from placing a trade. If you took the time to develop a system, execute it!

Once I started to really understand market structure in relation to price action, there was really no need for indicators. At the end of the day a good amount of the indicators you see out there are lagging; which means they wait for price to develop!

Remember that there is NO "Golden" Indicator or "Golden" Strategy. There is ONLY probabilities. In a game that is based off probabilities, loosing will inevitably be a part of trading, which is why there is no strategy that in the long-run will have 100% success rate!

KEY TRADING CONCEPTS TO UNDERSTAND: - Candlestick Anatomy - Market Structure - Pivot Points/ Key Levels - Supply & Demand - Liquidity Understanding these concepts is absolutely critical and will form the foundation for most strategies !

As a trader you MUST have the ability to brush off losses! More importantly understand that losses are a part of trading. Which is why Risk-Management is so important; it is not just about how much you make, but also how much you give back and are able to keep!

Morning Pre-Market (PM) routine: - Analyze how the Asia and London Session traded on $ES and $NQ - Analyze my watchlist and how those tickers traded PM - See if there are any relevant news or catalysts for that day

If you find yourself getting emotional whenever you are in drawdown, ask yourself these questions: 1) Did I take this trade out of impulse ? 2) Am I using more size than normal, if so why? 3) Could I explain to someone why I'm in this trade? 4) Did I respect my system and rules?

There is no 'GOLDEN' Strategy in trading. There is no 'MAGIC' Indicator that will trade for you. One thing is shortening your learning curve and another thing is clearly cutting corners. Understand the difference between the two, especially when your learning to trade.

$TSLA (Weekly TF) While the entire market was making ATH's, $TSLA was trending to the downside. For the past four weeks we've seen price action continue to hold above the D/Demand Zone. We will be closely watching $TSLA in case we start building structure to the upside.

Patience is absolutely critical in trading! You need to be ok with the fact that you will show up somedays and the market will not present any opportunity. There will be days where you WONT make money. Understand that trading is all about probabilities and not certainties.

A lot of traders will come and go! Very few are actually willing to dedicate the time and level of discipline that is required to learn trading. Big reason why traders struggle with this is because social media portrays it as an 'overnight-game'. Which is completely false.

$AMD will be on watch for this Week! We were able to see a shift of structure at $172.49, where price rejected a level that was previously respected as support. We rejected both $172.49 and the Golden Zone on the FIB, which lined up right under $172.49 ( for confluence).

$GOOGL will be on watch this week! We saw today's price action sweep the High made on 4/3 (purple line), however despite the rejection price action was still able to maintain structure to the upside.

Emotions should not be dictating whether you take a trade, nor should they dictate how you manage a trade. Ex. If your trade is currently in drawdown, but the analysis/set-up is still valid; then there is no reason to get out of the trade.

Trade the plan NOT the P&L!

Understand that profits are a by-product of discipline. Discipline of sticking to quality set-ups. Discipline of following your risk-parameters. Discipline to show up day in and day out.

The decision to NOT take a trade, is still a decision! The thought process to not put on a trade, is similar to that of the thought process of putting on a trade.
