Day 68- Had a really positive start to the day as we smashed our sprint demo. We’re doing really well as a team and we have next week to sort out a few functionality’s for our components and CSS. Can’t forget to do some testing aswell🙄. All in all a good week #100DaysOfCode

Day 67- This project has had me so occupied to the point I forgot about my updates on this account😭. It’s been a while but today we had a great talk by Sarah Herman from Amazon. Also got a breakthrough today as we managed to display our stories. Love my team!🤌🏾 #100DaysOfCode

Day 55- Spent majority of our day really focusing on our wireframes today. Starting to take shape and also used Jira to work on our backlog and really break down all the tasks into smaller components! 😁 #100DaysOfCode

Day 52/53/54- Been a busy few days but we are slowly getting there. With the help of the coaches and their feedback we were able to refine our problem statement and work from there. Helped us understand our users more and plan in accordance to match their needs. #100DaysOfCode

Day 51- Busy day today as we used Dot voting to make our final decision on our problem statement. Also went onto do market research and create some user stories and personas to help understand our customers. Mainly a lot of discussions today but bring on tomorrow. #100Daysofcode

Day 50- Had the pleasure of meeting my new team for the 5 week project. Managed to get a good vibe going on as today was all about creating a team manifesto and a problem statement which we would try and solve. Excited for what’s to come 😁 #100DaysOfCode

Day 49- Our last hackathon of the bootcamp and we now prepare for our final 5 week project ! This week has been a real challenge for me personally but we managed to get a functioning weather app using an API and using typescript. Long weekend ahead to rest😅. #100Daysofcode

Day 48- Another priceless talk today from Dr Murray Hoggett who gave us some amazing advice on life after SOC. Spent the afternoon looking into Typescript and I can already see how valuable it can be to developers. #100DaysOfCode

Day 47- Started off the day with some codewars and then an insightful talk from Rik on the importance on testing during the development period. Carried on with the authentication workshop from yesterday and managed to complete the tasks to get it functioning. #100DaysOfCode

Day 46- Went onto authorisation and authentication today and when it would be most suitable to use them in our apps. Will try and carry on with the workshop later on tonight to get a better grasp on it. #100DaysOfCode

Day 45- Had a great talk from Stuart today on the industry itself which was a real eye opener. Spent the rest of the day carrying on with SQL bolt and Joins statements which got a bit tricky. Also covered ERD’s (Entity Relationship Diagram) . #100DaysOfCode

Day 44- We were introduced to databases yesterday by learning SQL. Spent majority of the day using SQL bolt which helped with understanding the fundamental syntax which was very useful. #100DaysOfCode

Week 43- Todays hackathon consisted of us creating our very own API and then linking it to our front end. Managed to take it step by step to understand everything as we went along. Time for some rest and then the recap tasks for the weekend💪🏾 #100DaysOfCode

Day 42- Dug deeper into express and discovered custom middleware and third party middleware such as Morgan. Implemented both of these into our route handlers from yesterday’s workshop. Also had a great talk from @kiyanwang and Elly from Talis on RESTful API’s. #100DaysOfCode

Day 41- Spent the day grappling more Node.Js and building a REST API. Managed to get through the workshop using methods such as get, post, patch and delete. Did more work this evening to try and get my head around it but still a lot to tackle 😅. #100DaysOfCode

Day 39- Started working on my CV and then also went over some CSS by making notes and implementing it. Also did some individual learning and took some time in the afternoon going over arrays. #100DaysOfCode

Day 37/38- Spent the last 2 days mostly doing independent learning and focused on the things I need to get a better grip on. Also met the employability coaches this morning who gave us a good insight to life after SOC. #100DaysOfCode

Day 36- Just like that project week is over and what an experience it was! Had the pleasure of working with Sam, Alice and Anastasia who made this week enjoyable. We created a website which helped other boot-campers find learning resources on a specific topic. #100DaysOfCode
