Our summer campaign has kicked off + what a hot weekend! Did you know that, almost 30% of all Queensland beach drownings are located within 200m of the red and yellow flags? ONLY 200 metres. Time for you to walk the extra few metres and be a lifesaver.
This weekend we saw 197,106 beach visitors, our Lifesavers and Lifeguards performed 3788 preventative actions, 24 rescues and 270 first aid treatments. Always swim between the red and yellow flags ❤️💛 #redandyellow #thisislifesaving

We hope you all had an amazing weekend with an attendance of 190,200 across our Queensland beaches, Lifesavers and Lifeguards performed 3551 preventative actions, 61 rescues and 165 first aid treatments. Remember to always swim in the #redandyellow flags.
