In July, we welcomed 35 people to the Garden House for the first time. Since April, there's been 145 new #homeless presentations which means on average, there's at least one new person coming through our doors everyday. Let's continue supporting each person who are in need. 🙏
We need your help! 🙌 If you have any spare carrier bags or bags for life from supermarkets that you could donate, then please bring them to the Garden House. If you have rucksacks you no longer use then these would also be appreciated! 🙏 Thank you! 💛
Today, we took the Health Outreach Bus to Eastfield Road guest house to provide support to those living there. We were joined by @PeterboroughCC, @BoroughburyGP and @CPFT_NHS's Dual Diagnosis Outreach Team. 🏠👩🏻⚕️🧠 Another great example of partnership working! 😀
Last month, we supported 37 people to move off the streets & into accommodation. In the hot weather, it's been even more important to provide shelter for people sleeping rough. We also facilitated 59 engagements between @PeterboroughCC 's Rough Sleeper Outreach Team & our guests.
Graham has become our new Homeless Health Peer Advocacy Co-Ordinator. 😀
We're welcoming Amy from @peterboroughcab to the Garden House every week! She’ll be here to offer one-to-one appointments for our guests to provide advice and support regarding benefits, finding work, debt & money management, advice with law and courts, immigration, etc.😀
During July, 219 people came to the Garden House seeking support. They made 1,540 combined visits. Thank you to our wonderful staff, volunteers & partner services for providing advice, a listening ear & a friendly welcome to each person in need. 🙏💛 #RoughSleeping #Homelessness

Last month, we supported 38 people to move off the streets and into accommodation. This was thanks to working closely with @PeterboroughCC's Rough Sleeper Outreach Team. There were 42 engagements made at the Garden House between this team and our guests during June as well.

Yesterday, we were invited to give a talk at the Broadway Club in Peterborough. Most members hadn't heard of our work before so it was a great opportunity to tell them all about our work. Afterwards, a raffle was done with proceeds given to us which totalled £65.50. Thank you! 💛
