The Senate is about to vote on a bill that would raise electricity prices in every single state. It would cut off America's fastest growing sources of new electricity at a time when we need it most. Some states would see their bills go up by 20%+ as a result of this bill.

George W. Bush was the president that first enacted the federal solar tax credit, a republican. Now republicans are trying to strip that credit away at a time where unprecedented demand is mounting from AI data centers. Solar is cheaper and quicker than anything else. #solar

We cannot get nuclear or geothermal energy on the grid for at least 5-8 years, optimistically. Only solar and wind are underway currently. Those projects will be cancelled if this bill passes. This is just intentionally making America a country with expensive energy.
