When I get rate limited on Claude Code I'm using Codex and feels just a slow bad experience with the same downgrade as Claude: you also get rate limited pretty often! How did openAI get so behind on coding tools?

What annoys me the most on Claude Code short rate limit is that they stop middle of code changes, don't even finish the requests. Horrible UX overall
Rate limits kicked in, so I switched to Codex CLI. Pros: easier Q&A, more human readable. Cons: slower, and Claude Code still wins for coding.
48h into Claude Code and I’m hooked. Cursor & Codex are now “supporting actors.” Only issue: 5h limit feels more like 2h. Rate limits killing the vibe.
2 hours in with Claude → went from zero extension experience to almost shipping Digestly’s Chrome extension. The AI dev toolbox is getting unreal.
