گزارش های ساحوی از کمبود شدید کارکنان و پزشکان صحی در ولایت های زلزله زده کشور خبر می دهند. این که چند صد و یا چند هزار زن، کودک و زنان باردار نیازمند کمک جان دهد، برای طالبان مهم نیست، بلکه مهم است که تفکرات قرون وسطایی خویش را عملی کنند و دختران را اجازه تعلیم و تحصیل ندهند.
براساس گزارش های مقامات طالبان، در زمین لرزه اخیر در ولسوالی نورگل در کنر و ولایات همجوار تا کنون ۸۰۰ نفر کشته و ۲۵۰۰ زخمی گزارش شده است. نیاز است که در قالب نهادهای مردمی و نهادهای خیریه کنار هموطنان آسیب دیده خود بیایستیم. پیامدهای این زلزله بسیار ویرانگر است.
