Reflecting Christ should be the goal. Love, Joy, Peace, Kindness, Faithfulness, etc. The fruits of the spirit should show. Be the reason someone decides to give their life to Christ.

I changed. Get good at saying this. People will often try to remind you of your past and how you used to be. Find liberation in your growth instead of feeling the urge to shrink into old patterns. If they can’t celebrate your growth, then you have the wrong circle.

Environments change but your obedience shouldn’t. You won’t always be amongst believers. Sometimes you’ll be in rooms that is everything but holy. Don’t allow your environment to cause you to sin. If you have to change who you are to be in the room, then that room is not for you.

Wait on the Lord. Don’t allow the delay to discourage you from the promise God has made to you. Instead, ask God to develop you even the more as you wait. Waiting for a season is not punishment, it’s actually a blessing. That’s usually the time God is up to something the most.

Gut feelings can be misleading: Make sure your gut feeling is rooted in truth and not trauma. Many of your push away people that was strategically placed to help you get to your next but because you’ve avoided healing, you push them away. Heal so you can effectively discern.
