My latest coordinated-motion model is flat and based on a hexagonal tiling, with all the identical pieces moving in and out simultaneously. The mechanism is the same as in the classic Magic Disc and my Blast-hedra puzzles. I can make as many pieces as I like this time.

My latest coordinate-motion model with 20 pieces, based on the compound of five tetrahedra. We can assemble the 20 identical pieces into five separate tetrahedra or into one large ball.

Recently I designed and 3d printed a coordinated-motion model. There are 4 identical pieces. When we assemble them, all pieces move simultaneously towards the center to form an octahedron. Then I spin it to disassemble.

I improved my model of 30 pencils using colorful pencils. Now 5 pencils in each bundle have the same color, with 6 colors in total. @standupmaths if you can get the pencil manufacturer to make pentagonal pencils with 6 colors, you may make the ideal model.

10 entangled triangles, built with straws and paper clips. It's related to my two previous models of 30 pencils. This models also has the icosahedral rotational symmetry. It was a bit tricky to build and I wish I had more than 2 hands.

Using the leftover straws and paper clips from my previous model of 12 interlocking regular dodecahedra, I built a smaller model of 6 interlocking cubes. It has the octahedral rotational symmetry and is chiral. Previous model quoted below:

Ha, the great mathematician and physicist Weyl wrote in a journal article that 57 was a prime number. No wonder 57 as a prime is an internet meme. The story that Grothendieck used 57 as an example of prime doesn’t have reliable source, but Weyl has written proof. I like 57.
