Would love to see a formal @lyft and @Uber policy in driver video recording during rides. 1) Please record with a automotive security camera, this is good! 2) Please ensure this recording is not being live streamed 3) Please ensure a reasonable policy with managing the recordings

@manicode @lyft @Uber With GDPR those policies, incl documented risk analysis justifying recording, would be mandatory. So if they operate within EU, they should have it by now, and all of us in EU can request info about them. #justsaying

@manicode @lyft @Uber Re policy, here's a start: If a camera exists it must be recording at all times. The recordings must be available to all parties (driver, rider, company) upon authorized request. The minimum retention period must be defined.
