going all in on mathacademy is one of those things you’re gonna be highly unlikely to regret mathacademy is the equalizer. no other resource like it. forget analysis paralysis and bullshit promises of “master X skill in 2 weeks.” with MA, you’ll actually fucking learn
stop wasting your time exploring the search space of your technical abilities through slow lanes and textbooks. just dive in and do the real thing with the best tool available. the team behind MA is insanely mission focused. they’re literally giving you a superpower
@mannycpp I feel like we should make 'Study Math' an add on to 'lift weights' as far as self-mastery goes. Doing it with MA hits all the notes for discipline, incremental mastery, agency, confidence in doing hard things, etc.
@mannycpp I really want to enroll, but the price is too expensive for someone who lives in third world countries
@mannycpp What math did you learn that you think had the best return on time invested?
@mannycpp I've used it for 3 months and scored more than 6000xp and honestly I found it a bit underwhelming after a while. It's great when you don't know where to start, but once you've completed MF2 there is better content out there (and free)
@mannycpp agree 100%… I’ve been spending an average of about 1hr/day on it and I completely empathize with the futility of waffling around in the search space vs. just focusing on doing. i like the balance of being prescriptive while allowing some room for “choose your own adventure”
